Parisa Bilal

Parisa Bilal is singer/songwriter, based in Los Angeles. She has performed at the Dolby Theatre in 2006 back when it was called the Kodak Theater. She was 1 out of 100 students across LAUSD to get chosen to perform there. She continued her music journey when she moved to Pakistan (her hometown) in 2009. She was a student of the legendary Classical Singer Ustaad Fateh Ali Khan Saab of Patiala Gharana. She learned her basics of music by learning classical music to gain more knowledge about the depth of music. She has performed on stage and continued to amaze the audience with her classical performances. She has also been interviewed on PTV (Pakistan Television) She then moved back to Los Angeles after a couple years. In 2020 during covid she started writing her own songs. “I never knew how to write songs and I always wondered how people do it, one night while I was sleeping it just clicked. I grabbed my phone, opened up the voice notes app not worrying about the time and I recorded the lyrics and music that came to my head in my voice notes, from there the journey began.” Parisa has released 3 songs in the year of 2022 with many more planned for the coming year. Each song has a story behind the lyrics which comes across very raw and heartfelt.
