Part Time Action was formed in Bayside, Queens, in early 2024 by guitarist and vocalist Frankie Ciasullo at just 12 years old. After several lineup and instrument changes typical of a teenage garage band, PTA was fully formed with bassist Stamati Petratos, drummer Kevin Docena, and frontman/rhythm guitarist Max Romanow. The band harkens back to the golden age of melodic punk rock and emotional post-hardcore from the turn of the millennium, while also taking influence from many other styles to create a wholly unique sound within their local scene.
