Passion In Constellation is the ever evolving brainchild of Chris Alan - steadily carving his own pathway through the territory of synth-pop. Alan's love affair with music began in middle school, in garages and basement shows, with his hardcore band, "The Floor is Lava". The band dismantled in high school, however, determined to forge a lifelong career in the music industry, Alan enrolled in SUNY Fredonia's prestigious sound recording technology program. While most of his peers gravitated towards indie-rock and avant-garde experimentation, Alan gained a feverish curiosity towards the genre of pop: "The more I learned about music, after getting into audio production, the more I started to appreciate pop, it's just about the most polished stuff on the earth sonically. "Fast forward several years later, after being a member of four-piece outfit Pardi Gras, graduating, and accepting a job as an music composer at Fisher-Price, Alan is now fully immersed in the raw material of Passion In Constellation and witnessing the fruits of his labor as his beloved solo project attracts a rapidly widening fan base.<br>
