The 2020 Independent Music Awards Winner in the CCM/Gospel Song Category for "He's Able feat David Scott."
Patrick was born in Arkansas, but lived in Virginia for the majority of his life. He currently sings at Mount Hope Baptist Church (The Hope) and has been there for 7 years. He is also the Prison/Jail Ministry Leader.
Patrick began singing from a very young age since his Mother sung and was the children’s choir director at their church in Hamburg, Arkansas. She had him leading songs from the early age of 3 with no fear. This never stopped over the years as he grew up in Virginia Beach singing in the Newlight Baptist Church Young Adult Choir and Adult Choir before joining the Marine Corps in 1993 and retiring from the Corps in 2018. Throughout his military career singing for the Lord never left his heart as he sung on the Quantico Gospel Choir and secretly wrote songs between Him and God. “Music has always been God’s way of speaking crystal clear to me and my way of releasing and surrendering everything to Him.”
Patrick said that his favorite part of singing worship music is that pleasing feeling he feels from God, like a Father watching his son walk for the first time. God instilled that passion for music in his heart and he gets to let it out every time he sings lifting high the name of Jesus. Patrick Foreman, Singer & Songwriter, says it's not about me, It is about having experiences together with God.
