Patrik Andrén is an award winning composer for video games, film and Tv, best known for his music in the TV series The Bridge (Bron) that earned world acclaimed success and the AAA Electronic Arts video games Battlefield 1 and 5 and Embark Studios ARC Raiders that he composed together with Johan Söderqvist.
Born in Sweden, Andrén began writing and playing keyboards in bands as a teen, then moved to Boston to get a Degree in Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music. He later returned to Stockholm and spent a decade as a musician and keyboardist producing and writing for various pop acts before his journey in film music commenced.
Andrèn composed the film score for the Zentropa's Department Q series: The Keeper of Lost Causes (Kvinnan i Buret) and The Absent One (Fasandräparna), and contributed music to the scores for Kon-Tiki (Academy Award nominated), Serena (starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence), and The King’s Choice (Kongens Nei), among other projects.
