Pats is an independent hip-hop artist known for his sharp wordplay, genre-bending sound, and refusal to follow trends. Originally from Chatham, ON, he began writing and recording music in high school at 17. His artistic journey led him west to Vancouver, BC, where he spent the last five years shaping his sound and identity.
Since launching his music career in April 2020, Pats has released five full-length albums, earning hundreds of thousands of streams. As a performer, he has shared stages with legendary acts like D12, Obie Trice, Lloyd Banks, Mad Child (Swollen Members), and most recently, the iconic duo Blu & Exile in his final Vancouver show. Before departing, he also formed the alt-rap trio The Blazin 7s, whose debut album, BORN 2 IGNITE MICS, is out now.
Musically, Pats draws influence from a wide array of sounds—from classic hip-hop, punk rock, and country to classic rock and elements of modern rap—but his greatest inspiration comes from the versatility of artists like Mac Miller. His work blends introspection, grit, and boundary-pushing concepts, aiming to move listeners beyond surface-level music and into raw, personal territory.
Now based in London, ON, Pats has returned to his roots on the East Coast, eager to build new connections in the local scene and beyond. Pats just released his sixth full-length project titled SELFISH. — his most defined and intentional body of work yet.
