PatternShift

Colorado-based composer &amp; producer, multi-instrumentalist, and sci-fi author <a href="spotify:artist:0EmM5juoSIlwvmIbVB5LTy" data-name="Benjamin Kamphaus">Benjamin Kamphaus</a> produces immersive, atmospheric space music as <a href="spotify:artist:6MNFOvQOGj0BYmHJa6tVIV" data-name="PatternShift">PatternShift</a>. He combines mysterious and melancholic soundscapes, nuanced ambient textures, and meditative, relentless synthwave drive to produce his signature sound.

He established his spacey, cinematic sound as PatternShift with <a href="spotify:album:0W3jpXgtcXmT0zI25lBhul" data-name="Vaskania Prime">Vaskania Prime</a> in 2018. Since then, his music has followed two main threads: the immersive, ambient adjacent spacewave of the Vaskania Prime universe (Rites of the Renouncer, Wake of the Wanderer, Fragments of the Fleet, Other Oceans, &amp; Mistakes of the Makers Pt. 1 &amp; 2) and the relentless bio-themed cyberpunk drive of Exponent, Cascade, &amp; Frameshift (planned for 2026).
