Paul Danke is a mainstay of the Los Angeles alternative comedy scene, and founding member of The Comedy Garage (Hulu). Following his debut stand up album DANK (A Special Thing Records) and stand out performance on the alt comedy album Holy Fuck, Paul made a name for himself touring the west coast. In 2024 Paul released his second album MAD RIVER (A Special Thing Records) recorded at The Savage Henry Comedy Club, one year after lighting their stage on fire.
In 2023 Paul began recording music with Paella Studios founder Tim Young and playing live shows backed by the band Thundershirt. Paul began releasing music with his stand up comedy in 2024 with his second album MAD RIVER featuring the single I'M SORRY.
In 2025 Paul expanded into the music world with his EP Danke del Mar (A Special Thing Records) working again with producers Tim Young and Scott Seiver. A genre expanding four song EP with ballads, a micro rock opera and a throwback R&B track featuring Open Mike Eagle.
Paul has opened for Karen Kilgariff, Kyle Kinane, Johnny Pemberton and Nick Thune, performed in many festivals and written for MTV, A&E, Earwolf and Savage Henry Magazine.
