Savage Beat

Savage Beat started in in the fall of 2016 as a fun project to write some punk/oi tunes in the style of many of the great bands we grew up on (Blitz, Stiff Little Fingers, Anti-Heroes, Wretched Ones etc etc) after a few months of practicing a demo was recorded. Those recordings ended up as the "Trench Warfare" 12" on Evil Has Landed records and on "Oi ain't dead 7" on Rebellion Records. (The complete session has been released as the "Trench Warfare"LP on Rebellion records in Europe and Longshot records/LSM-vinyl in the USA/Canada in spring 2020.). After that the band started playing out in Holland and Germany supporting bands like Peter & The Test Tube Babies, Radio Birdman and more. At the same time their album "Wired" was written and recorded and subsequently released as a LP on Rebellion records in Europe and Longshot Records/LSM-Vinyl in the USA/Canada. The band also released two ultra limited split ep's. One with Texas' Concrete Elite and one with Portland's Death Ridge Boys. The album and singles were supported with shows in Holland, France, Serbia, USA and Canada.
After the wildly exciting 2019 Savage Beat were geared up for an even busier 2020. But after two shows at the beginning of the year all plans were put on hold due to the corona pandemic. Nonetheless a new 12"ep called "New World" was recorded for Rebellion/LSM-Vinyl.
