Step into the ethereal world of PEARL, a British singer-songwriter that dances delicately between synth, indie and alt pop. Recognised as a "hotly-tipped talent" by Wonderland magazine, PEARL’s debut EP last summer, 'Where I Go' invited us into her realm of celestial vocals, echoing synths and pulsating beats.

Atwood magazine has aptly described PEARL's sound as “a spellbinding fusion of iridescent synths, rhythmic pulsations and angelic, haunting vocals reminiscent of Sigrid," and her EP earned a prestigious spot on their coveted list of the Best EPs of 2023. Recorded and co-produced at Urchin Studios with Matt Ingram, ‘Where I Go’ is sonically inspired by the likes of Sylvan and Maggie Rogers, as well as the lyrical imagery of Ben Howard. Her classically trained vocals juxtapose with synthetic instrumentals to create a soundscape she describes as biophilic, “the synths, drums and production are the architecture, and my voice, the organic sounds, and the lyrics are the green and natural elements that run through…I’ve always had an overactive imagination!”

Her vulnerable songwriting explores emotions and events she’s experienced in a way that is accessible and inviting. Already having garnered support from Spotify editorial playlists such as the likes of ‘Fresh Finds’, ‘Fresh Finds Indie’ and ‘Fresh Finds Pop’, her descriptive lyrics transport you into a distinctive sonic world that excites and envelopes.
