Pelikan Rogue are a six piece rock/pop act hailing from South Ayrshire in Scotland. Founded in 2016 by current lead vocalist and songwriter Scott Russell and current bassist Andy Strachan . Drummer Adrian Chow was added with lead guitarist Glen McKay and the band enjoyed 4 years recording 4 tracks with producer JP Reid of <a href="spotify:artist:0G5NNdD9Ndp8jacGzBSCDG" data-name="Marmaduke Duke">Marmaduke Duke</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:2N30spdi785QoSsLmohiSk" data-name="MEDALS">MEDALS</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1joh8b1XIoawZ6WYwqVpSy" data-name="YesDragon">YesDragon</a>. Gigs followed at Glasgows ABC , King Tuts and Liverpools famous Cavern Club . Feel The Pain was the bands first release followed by Anchor Lane and then the crowd favourite Podium Queen.
Post Covid, McKay left the band and Gus Manson joined as lead guitarist. Gavin Lauchlan then joined on keyboards and Martyn Lopez on lead guitar to complete the five piece of today. The introduction of Lauchlan on keys, gave Pelikan Rogue a bigger live sound and and began re working some old music and writing new music. The Vet and Crawl came out in 2023 with this new sound, produced by <a href="spotify:artist:4wDZMP13Fca9SyoMBAJ7tn" data-name="Tony Strachan">Tony Strachan</a>. The band then invested heavily on new stage and studio equipment and moved into their own studio space to begin producing their own music with Lauchlan taking the lead on this. 2024 started with Pelikan Rogues first self produced single Lie To Me which quickly became a favourite and boosted the bands stats on socials and brought a new audience. After a year of gigs in London and Edinburgh plus a release(Love Is Dead) PR are back in 2025 with a May release and supporting <a href="spotify:artist:0qLNsNKm8bQcMoRFkR8Hmh" data-name="James">James</a> at <a href="spotify:playlist:5cmpEspkgo2TSRgh1iOC5b" data-name="AYR PAVILION FESTIVAL">AYR PAVILION FESTIVAL</a> .
