Penny Don

Penny Don is a multi talented Jamaican dancehall artist/producer/songwriter that hails from the parish of St. Thomas. He is a member of the musical collective known as "The Mobstaz", otherwise called "The Mob" or jus "The M". Penny Don's style of hard hitting witty lyrics, melodic hooks with a cool & calm delivery mixed with clever wordplay and a unique voice makes him an easy standout and an all rounded artist who can churn out bangers of all different flavors. Tracks like Big Food, Trunk Back, Weed Baby, Take Control, Hype and Redemption, shows us the versitility Penny Don has as a songwriter and performer. Penny Don started doing music officially after graduating Ardenne High School where he began visiting various studios in order to get his talent heard. During this time he attended Excelsior Community College afterwards moving on to UTECH to pursue a bachelor of Art Degree in Communication Arts & Technology. After dropping out of UTECH he decided that to take music a bit more serious so he become a producer so that he could produce himself as an artist due to the fact that producers were not willing to work with new artists in the business, so in order to get beats he started to make them. He established LiveWyah Records in 2016 and began producing and releasing tracks at rapid pace both as an artist and producer making a name for himself in the Eastern section of the Island.
