PENPALS are some lyrical assailants straight out of the underbelly of Brooklyn, NY consisting of filthy wordsmiths Rapswell and Bobby Noble, and rounded out by their beatmaker Squires.
The three emerged on the scene with 2015’s self-titled PENPALS album, which was released through the UK-based label Chopped Herring Records. Rapswell and Squires then released the project Rice Krispy Treats, a tribute to 90’s radio legends Stretch & Bobbito, under their moniker OG Aborigines.
Shortly after, the crew teamed up with Edinburgh producers <a href="spotify:artist:49vIrnZPb9Tcc9N30t7E3S" data-name="Jazz Spastiks">Jazz Spastiks</a> for the aptly-titled, Made For The Underground.
Collaborations with Junclassic, Marvolus Jay, Lars Viola & EMERLD followed. Their next album PENPALS 2 is their dopest yet.
