Pepper Gomez is a Chicago House vocalist, lyricist and poet who was part of the birth of the genre in the 1980s. Winning the Columbia College AEMMP Student Record label contest with a remake of "Pushin' Too Hard" resulted in her first release (1984) and an underground club hit under the band name Master Plan. She then went on to legendary House Label, Sunset Records where both Master Plan's "Electric Baile" (1986) and Matt Warren's "Way To My Heart" (both released in 1986) went on to chart on Billboard Dance Charts. She returned to the music industry in 2017 (after many years of dedication to Flamenco) and can be heard singing on nu projects with Robert Owens, Carpente, Matt Warren, Emran Badalov, Tacboy of ET Boys, Fluid Dynamic, AFTR, and other international and Wake Up! Music releases. Pepper Gomez sings by invitation only because producers keep asking her and because she loves to sing and write vocal melodies and lyrics. In addition to Wake Up! Music, Pepper is signed to Running Back Record Label in Germany.
