Kocleo began to deal with decks, needles and mixers when he was just 13, learning the tricks of djing by his brother on vinyls of Kraftwerk, Public Enemy, Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills. Awarded 'Best DJ' in the ‘ Nottalba' contest by Francesco Zappalà (2nd place in DMC World 1990) and Krisma (ex New Dada), Kocleo decided to move to Rome in order to expand and explore his passion on music production.
Fast forward to 2016 and he has since emerged as one of the few most exciting talents to come out of Italy, releasing solid house and techno cuts on labels such as Last Night On Earth, Culprit, Integrity Records, Audiomatique to name just a few.
Apart from the regular support he receives from DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Maya Jane Coles, Ame, Dj T., Joris Voorn, Danny Tenaglia, Vince Watson and James Zabiela, just to mention a few.
Kocleo’s recent release ‘Pacific Time’, picked up by Pete Tong for his Essential Mix Radio 1 show only exemplifies the quality of his output which we have a strong feeling will only continue to grow in the coming years..
