Pete Catt is releasing music from his own label Zumi Records.
Pete Catt was born in Plainfield New Jersey, USA the home of Funkadelic and then grew up in Reading UK. He formed Pete and the Pirates in the early 2000s with schoolfriends, and later formed Teleman with Tom, Jonny and Hiro. Now he's embarking on a solo mission, to share his soulful groove laden indie electronic, disco jams full of whimsical reflection and heartfelt emotive lyrics.
Somehow is about what's possible, about dreaming BIG and fulfilling our potential. An image of the moon in the artwork represents our highest aspirations, and the text SOMEHOW written in glass emphasises the fragile nature of life, and our means to succeed as fallible. However, no matter what limitations are in our way... Somehow .... we'll find a way out.
