Almost nothing is known about the life of Texas guitar player and singer Pete Harris. Heavily influenced by <a href="spotify:artist:6EsuMifB8c5rm5P2DdjiLe">Blind Lemon Jefferson</a>, Harris recorded 13 tracks (including two takes of "Jack o' Diamonds") in Richmond, TX, during the month of May 1934. Among the cuts was a song called "Blind Lemon's Song," which was a version of <a href="spotify:artist:6EsuMifB8c5rm5P2DdjiLe">Jefferson</a>'s "See That My Grave Is Kept Clean," and a medley of square dance calls. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
