Peter Muffin Trio

The Peter Muffin Trio hails from Stuttgart and is centered by <a href="spotify:artist:7rdm7IB4LaHSy1PvRzXnmc" data-name="Die Nerven">Die Nerven</a> Bassist/Singer/Frontman Julian Knoth. The trio explores a wide range of stunning indie music, from Die Nerven-like Noiserock over early Violent Femmes-style acoustic Punk and everything in between.
Although “Stuttgart 21” is a debut album, the Peter Muffin Trio has quite a bit of history coming together: Based in Stuttgart, their work has an impact beyond Southern Germany.
Known from Die Nerven, where he plays bass, sings and writes songs, Julian is also performing as <a href="spotify:artist:0jceReUFrEvYySCWlaoGXS" data-name="Peter Muffin">Peter Muffin</a>. Under this name he released the EP “I and my 1000 friends” and the wonderful, raucous bedroom noise EP “Dose Scheisse”.
Philipp, Julian´s brother and neighbor, is also no stranger to Stuttgart´s vibrant music scene: He played in <a href="spotify:artist:2rNs3aF3Froiogj0sO6gEG" data-name="Karies">Karies</a> and Die Nerven and is currently playing in bands like <a href="spotify:artist:6Arj1L7vuPVkK3foh4PQmU" data-name="Flawless Issues">Flawless Issues</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2MqbUFfB6WWYKsrJqdNk0r" data-name="Yum Yum Club">Yum Yum Club</a>.
Caroline d´Orville, <a href="spotify:artist:7fHeDNHm0L1Ap99AvgdS6M" data-name="CALI">CALI</a> for short, is going to release her Solodebut in 2025 and is also the singer, guitarist and songwriter of <a href="spotify:artist:0ShOlxeba8QGNGS9nxJn00" data-name="Zirkel">Zirkel</a>, a band she runs together with visual artists from the Art Academy Stuttgart. In 2017 she single-handedly conceived and produced the astonishing video for the Peter Muffin single “Hier bleibe ich stehen.”
