Petit Brabancon

Petit Brabanconは、京 (Vo / DIR EN GREY）、yukihiro (Dr / L'Arc-en-Ciel）、ミヤ (G / MUCC）、antz (G / Tokyo Shoegazer, ex. acid android）、高松浩史 (B / THE NOVEMBERS）と、日本のトップミュージシャンが集まった2021年結成の新しいスーパーバンド。
2021年末に行われた初ライヴの後、4曲入りシングル「渇き」を4月27日にリリース。"エクストリーム"を標榜するバンドの全体像は未だ闇のヴェールに包まれたまま。過去に発表された「刻」、「渇き」含む4曲は、ミヤ作曲による楽曲であったが、本アルバムにはyukihiro作曲、antz作曲の楽曲も収録される。荒々しくも疾走感溢れる楽曲から、深淵なアンビエントの世界で歪んだギターとが泳ぐ楽曲、ヘヴィな轟音が横たわる重厚な楽曲まで、その尖りきった楽曲性のレンジは広い。しかしながら、芯には暴力的なまでに研ぎ澄まされたラウドなサウンドが存在し、それぞれの個性が鋭く止めどなく襲いかかってくる。

Petit Brabancon is a new super band formed in 2021. The band consists of Kyo (Vo / DIR EN GREY), yukihiro (Dr / L’Arc-en-Ciel), Miya (G / MUCC), antz (G / Tokyo Shoegazer, ex. acid android), and Hiroshi Takamatsu (B / THE NOVEMBERS) - all top Japanese musicians and fixtures in the J-Rock scene.

Of their new venture, the superstar members of Petit Brabancon describe their sound as “extreme,” while simultaneously being wrapped in a veil of dark mystery. The musical range of the band`s oeuvre is broad. Some of their compositions are wild and excel at rapid velocities, while others give the illusion of swimming within an abyssal world of distorted guitars. Moreover, the band certainly does not shy away from crafting loud stadium anthems that roar as loudly as the fans that cheer them on!
