Phantasm is the solo art-pop project of 21-year old Tabi Shiel. Breakbeats, sparkly synths, spacey guitars, and delicate vocals fuse together into ethereal soundscapes which “can’t really be pigeon holed”, as BBC’s Emily Pilbeam describes.
Based in Manchester, all her music is self-produced and deeply personal. Tabi began teaching herself Logic Pro at fifteen, soon unveiling music production and composition as a language for her to express the chaos of her inner world more clearly than words could, pulling frequent all-nighters unable to pull herself away from her musical projects.
