Eric Salazar, aka Phidippus, has been releasing music since 1997. From 1998 to 2008 he produced music for popular dance labels worldwide. In 2008 Eric released a full-length album under the name ES which gained radio play and commendations from the press. After the release of the album, Eric's sounds found their way to television where he scored commercials for Mercedes, Smirnoff, The Travel Channel and others. Between 2008 and 2012, Eric remixed artists such as The B52s, Sasha and Summer Channel. It was in 2012 that Eric made a deep dive into drum and bass and started a project simply called "170". Ten years later record labels such as Nahual Records and Full Send DnB would release Eric's work. This year brought about the release of King Carter and King Carter II, a pair of albums showcasing Eric's best drum and bass work, as well as "Jinx" and "Lazarus", two albums highly critically praised. Looking to the future, Eric is planning to tour and continue releasing his sonic mayhem wherever he can.
