Pixilated Theory is an electronic rock duo that hails from the states of Missouri and Oklahoma. Pixilated Theory was formed in September of 2008 by musicians Michael Hall and Jonathan Hall as a vehicle for their artistic ideas and inspirations. What resulted was the release of the concept album "Top Secret," the band's debut which explored the themes of government conspiracy and interstellar travel. In 2009, Pixilated Theory was featured on FuseTV's "Make a Star" television show, where portions of a music video for the song "Dark Room" was played for millions of worldwide viewers. In January 2010, Pixilated Theory began work on their follow-up album “Brave the Storm”. Later that month Pixilated Theory was honored to receive a "Grindie Award" from RadioIndy.com for their debut album “Top Secret”. Eventually, “Brave the Storm” was scrapped due to time constraints and conflicts with the grueling school schedules of both musicians. However, On March 23, 2010, they would release the single "Six Day War" along with B-Side "Sheol at Dawn," two songs which were originally to be featured on the “Brave the Storm” album due to their popularity and fan requests. During the Fall of 2010, the duo continued to create music with a new record label, “Sparhawk Records”. Working with the new label, the duo recorded new material and released their official follow-up album “The Moon is a Spaceship” on May 31, 2011.
