Kevin Christie was born and raised in Enfield, London. At just fifteen years of age, he put together a progressive rock band that went on to be published by Blue Mountain Music (home of Bob Marley and U2). He also started performing on the North London nightclub circuit, as an MC.
Coming up from the underground scene and taking the UK by storm, Kevin developed into the the fun loving, exhilarating, full blown dance producer, and DJ, Majestic. Since then, Majestic has taken the UK Dance scene by storm. Millions of streams, remixes, sold out shows, short films. But Kevin hasn’t forgotten about his roots. Thus the conception of Plain Old Kev. The risk taking MC, that strives to motivate with his art and make music worth being remembered for. It allows Kevin to be able to pick up an instrument and be political.
Influenced by UK greats like The Streets and Example, Kevin describes Plain Old Kev as his 'most honest music work.'
