Plutonium was formed in 2003 as a vehicle for MR J´s creativity. 2004 the ”Wind of change” demo was released and (now defunct) Khaoz Star Records signed the band. The debut album ”One size fits all” was released in 2007 and shortly after that release, Plutonium became an one man act. 2011 the second album ”Devilmentertainment non-stop” was released after years of sorrow and misfortune. 2013 MR J celebrated the 10th year of existence of Plutonium with a remastered digital version of ”Wind of change” and also, another digital release called ”A decade of indifference 2003-2013” with four exclusive new tracks.
January 2016, ”Born again misanthrope” arrived with nine new tracks. 31st December 2016, Plutonium ceased to exist.
Plutonium performed industrial extreme metal with influences from black and death metal. Lyrically, PLUTONIUM could be described as very depressive. The lyrics shows a grey world of filth, misery and hopelessness. Themes that are frequent are humiliation, violence, obedience, dictatorship.....Books like “Fahrenheit 451” or “Brave new world” might give you a hint of what to expect.
