Hey I’m poet22! I’m a 23 year old RnB artist based out of Wisconsin with roots in the South side of Chicago. I’ve been creating since I was a kid and have always dreamt of becoming a professional singer. What first started off as Haikus soon turned into song lyrics. I attribute my deep love for writing poetry and storytelling as the catalyst for my songwriting. In 2019 I released my first project on SoundCloud entitled ‘Perfect Timing’, which was followed by my first full length album ‘Chrysalis’ in 2022 and my genre blending EP ‘misadventures of a romantic”. I find that I’m often inspired by how my everyday situations make me feel; and I plan to soon become a household name. Thanks for listening to a piece of who I am, even if only for a moment <3
