Four suburban friends make up the Indie Punk Rock swelter, Poison Oak. From the sunny streets of Townsville, Poison Oak has been kicking around for half a decade. Since their inception, they have released three Eps and their debut album “These Suburban Dreams”.
Headlining Townsville’s Freshley Squeezed event at Otherwise while playing multiple years at Townsville Folk Festival to supporting Tones and I at Tropic Sounds festival. Every year captures a new horizon for the band. Stepping off as a semi-finalist, twice, for the Unsigned Only Competition and being a finalist for The Australian Songwriting Awards, the band has gone from strength to strength. Poison Oak is gearing up to release a new slew of singles for their second LP, garnering a new polished sound.
