Poonam Singh

Poonam Singh is a multitalented soul who was born on the 19th of February in 1995 in Georgetown, Guyana. She was raised in Canal Number One, West Bank Demerara in a small home with big hearted people who overpowered her with pure love and bliss. At the age of five, she was already coming to a realization on what her goals were and how hard she would have to work to achieve them. As she grew older her realizations manifested and she did not only want to pursue a career in law but she wanted to become an international singer. She discovered she had an immense passion and great liking for putting down her thoughts in words and then allowing her lungs and vocals to do the rest.
Before she began to focus soley on music only, she ventured into several other fields. In 2011, she came 2nd place in the GTT jingle & song competition, in 2013, she graduated with a diploma in Communication Studies from the University of Guyana, in 2016 she not only won the Miss Global International Pageant in Guyana and came 2nd runner up in the international pageant but she released her first major single "GUYANA' which accumulated over 1 million views on Youtube and worldwide recognition. The lyrics of her single "GUYANA" is now taught in Schools in her country as part of their curriculum.
Poonam Singh has released Unspoken, Guyana, Life is Your Gift, My Christmas Wish, You Are and her newest single, Happy Place, so far. She is currently working on new music to be released soon.
