Sure D

Destiny is a strong word that can be ambiguous to the mind and even the heart. In life, most people often set out to fulfill their destiny. In the case of Kathy-Ann ‘Sure-D’ Murray, she is surely destined to make it in the music industry.
Sure-D (Surely Destined) was born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Toronto, Canada. Her candid attitude and passion for music are attributes that emit from this ray of sunshine. In the past Sure-D was blessed to write for pop artist Alyssa Reid out of Canada. With her hip hop background, Sure-D was able to perform around the United States while writing with fellow writer Kia Jeffries and producers James Lackey and Steven Jordan better known as Stevie J. Her talents also led her to Jamaica with performance opportunities with the likes of Freddie McGregor and Turbulence.
Sure-D has created her own sound and style which has brought great attention to her as a versatile artist. With her new found love of Soca she continues to stand out by releasing such musical works as ‘Turn Up’ (2016), ‘Amazing’ (2017), ‘Nothing Cyah Stop Meh’ (2018), and most resent singles ‘Liking It’ and ‘Thunda Juju ’ of the Juju Riddim.
Sure-D believes with enough support her music will reach higher heights. The goal is to be successful on an international level with Soca now being the influence in her art.
