Poptones is a Copenhagen-based alternative rock band.
The band consists of singer and bassist Mads Bertelsen, guitarist Simon Hiemstra Christoffersen and drummer Anders Dahl Poulsen. As childhood friends from North Jutland, the sound of Poptones is the result of a long-term friendship that has grown into a natural understanding of each other as individual musicians. This understanding constitutes a shared frame of musical references that the three members of Poptones can actively draw upon for inspiration in the songwriting process.
Their upcoming album 'Pure' will be released on September 26, 2025. The album is written and produced together with Jens Ramon (Baby In Vain, Gooms, Figurines)
Their debut album, Between Darkness & Daylight, was released in November 2022 and the EP 'Hunt' was released in 2020.
