Rude Films are a Manchester-based, alternative rock band with a sound characterised by a contrast between the ethereal and the chaotic.

March 2025 will see the release of their eponymous debut album, preceded by the singles ‘Mort Subite’ and ‘Blood
on the Tracks’. This follows the highs of 2024, with numerous shows supporting Manchester post-punk favourites, IST IST, including at the 1300 cap New Century Hall. They were recently included in a list of ‘ones to watch 2025’ by BBC Introducing Lancashire.
In 2022 they released their debut four-track EP, ‘Statements of Fear’, via Longreel Records, with a physical release by
Sour Grapes Records.
