Port of Call is a band from The Netherlands. Inspired by a golden generation, consisting of only the best people history could provide. Inspired by the morning paper you never had the chance to read. Inspired by Lou Reed continuously asking for a high-quality Pernod. After a decade of operating as a solo act (and many tours in North America, Mainland Europe and the UK), Port of Call has evolved into a band. With the release of the previous record - Clear Memories - the musical qualities of Tijs Kulker (percussion); Bastiaan Tichler (bass); Edoardo Felici (guitar) and Katía Truijen (keys and vocals) merged with the earlier solo work of Pieter van Vliet. This synergy will be heard in album-form for the first time on the upcoming album The Breeze.
