Potochkine is a Paris-based electronic duo blending EBM, darkwave, techno, and theatrical performance into a powerful, poetic form of electronic music. Formed in the mid-2010s by two artists with backgrounds in theatre and stage arts, Potochkine stands out for transforming their live shows into immersive rituals—fusing dance, storytelling, and raw physical energy. Their debut EP Libérez votre imagination (2016) introduced their dark and poetic aesthetic, followed by Potochkine (2018) and the acclaimed album Sortilèges (2021), which established them as one of the most exciting acts in the European dark electronic scene.
