Fashioning introspective, offbeat bedroom pop, Praything is the pseudonym of Brooklyn-based musician Ju Kovacevich. Born in Middlesbrough, England, he arrived in Brooklyn by way of Europe, Asia, Central America, and Gainesville, Florida, where he began using the name in 2010. Kovacevich released Praything's debut EP, Her Skin Caught the Glow, in 2012, with a second EP, Heavun, arriving in 2014. A series of self-released singles followed, including "Heaven Is a Lonely Place" in 2015, the piano-and-hand-drum tune "Soon Soon" a year later, and the lusher, guitar-based "You'll Be Mine" in 2017. ~ Marcy Donelson, Rovi
