Primula is a four-piece band from Malmö and Stockholm, made up of Ella, Jim, Christoffer, and Olle. Coming from jazz backgrounds, the band began releasing music in 2023 and quickly became part of Sweden’s jazz scene while developing a sound of their own. They are known for a close, intuitive live feel shaped by years of playing together.
2026 marks a turning point for Primula as they move toward a more indie- folk oriented sound, still closely drawing inspiration from their jazz roots.This new musical direction is captured on their EP ‘Nothing New’, with release in May, representing a natural evolution of the band’s sound and songwriting.
