Prince Von

Devon L. Laubscher, “ Prince Von ™ ”, is an American born music recording artist, songwriter, and composer who hails from Cissna Park, Illinois.

At the age of 5, Von found his passion for music by learning to play the violin. As he grew older, he realized his passion was not only playing instruments, but also singing. During middle and high school, he participated in chorus, band, madrigals, musicals, and variety show. He became a recipient of the John Phillip Sousa Award. He also was a four sport athlete during school, and chose to fully pursue a career in music rather than try out for the Olympics. Before branching off to become a soloist, he was apart of a band called High Cross.


He now currently serves as a petty officer in the United State’s Navy part time, as well as work as a security officer during his civilian time on top of creating music.


With the influence of a Christian upbringing, he now creates a unique style of hip-hop, pop, and r&b songs to inspire others with his stories and his love for Christ.


His newest single “Time” with Rapzilla was released July 23, 2021.
