Rio Camacho

Puerto Rican and Mexican rap artist Mario Daniel Camacho aka Rio Camacho was born and raised on the north side of Hammond, IN. With a heart to inspire, motivate, uplift, and encourage, Rio uses music as a tool to glorify God and reach others. With his crafty wordplay, smooth melodic flow on top of a variety of versatile hip hop beats, Rio aims for his songs to be as catchy, entertaining, impactful and relatable as possible. Since the year of 2013 Rio has been booked consistently with a countless amount of events. Some of the events he was opened up for artists like KB, Deitrick Haddon, Canton Jones, Dee-1, Da Truth, Jon Keith, Derek Minor, Gemstones, Canon, Bizzle, Sevin, Adriel Cruz, Datin, Ruslan, Preston Perry, Bryann T, Rick Pino, The Walls Group, and Free Worship. He has also worked on the soundtrack, appeared in and is an associate producer in Chris Jamerson’s 2024 short film “The Exiles” that has been viewed around the world and gained global recognition as well as winning multiple awards internationally. Rio has never been shy or hesitant being transparent sharing his testimony and expressing himself throughout his music. His music is nothing more than a reflection of his life.
