Nick Silooy was captivated by music ever since he saw his dad play the guitar at a birthday. After that initial encounter, he never witnessed his dad play again, but the experience left a lasting inspiration.
He began playing the drums at the age of 11, picked up the guitar at 17, and ventured into music production at 21. Originally from Beverwijk, he later moved to the music capital of The Netherlands, The Hague. Nick shared the stage with his brother and two friends in the band Casual Tease.
Following that experience, he became the drummer for the band 6uhr and then formed his own band, N.y.X, with a few friends in The Hague. They participated in a band contest called "Grote Prijs van de Bollenstreek." Due to musical differences, Nick embarked on his solo project Project Blue Beam.
Currently, he's working from his van, busking, and playing at hotels, pubs, bars, hostels, and music venues all through Europe. His goal is to release 10 singles by the end of 2024. 🚐
