After releasing his critically acclaimed solo debut <a href="spotify:album:4L61Pgo0Mfd6rWRqdYcHxN" data-name="Songs From & Inspired By Noisewater">Songs From & Inspired By Noisewater</a> in 2010, an album in which he wrote, performed, produced and mixed all the music himself, <a href="spotify:artist:4kVsTTzeTeUiIEV0wFatoL" data-name="Timmy Sean">Timmy Sean</a> decided to jump from powerpop rock to 80’s tinged synth funk with 2014’s <a href="spotify:album:2uLgnrKENnmUe0BPwIL0uG" data-name="Light Years EP">Light Years EP</a> under the pseudonym <a href="spotify:artist:0V3AONHFcfV8NF2NAYYUOR" data-name="Sir Video">Sir Video</a>. In 2015, the project grew into a fully fledged band upon the release of the <a href="spotify:album:1bzY8vpXEyQYMzympahLgE" data-name="Young as the Night">Young as the Night</a> EP, featuring a line-up whose credits included everyone from Kesha to the late king of synth funk himself, Prince. After a sold-out live debut in Los Angeles, the following years featured appearances by Sir Video in a series of Alcatel Mobile commercials for Amazon and Cricket wireless, brought the group from coast to coast, including performances at the legendary El Rey Theater and The Roxy in Los Angeles, support dates with <a href="spotify:artist:53RkHTcl0SJZjpzqogkBf4" data-name="The Fixx">The Fixx</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6f0hUHWLOCxCSDQMtdVAS7" data-name="Shwayze">Shwayze</a>, and Who’s Bad, had an entire episode of PBS On Tour dedicated to the band, and signed <a href="spotify:track:185TKHCACxwc9p6A8G6Lk3" data-name="Young as the Night">Young as the Night</a> to the world renowned sync company Hitcher Music (<a href="spotify:artist:4RnBFZRiMLRyZy0AzzTg2C" data-name="Run The Jewels">Run The Jewels</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4l1cKWYW591xnwEGxpUg3J" data-name="Miike Snow">Miike Snow</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1KP6TWI40m7p3QBTU6u2xo" data-name="BØRNS">BØRNS</a>). The band will be returning in 2020 with a series of singles, beginning on January 31 with an anthem for a brand new decade, “The New Champions,” featuring <a href="spotify:artist:536osqBGKzeozje8BfcGsa" data-name="Allen Stone">Allen Stone</a> keyboardist and talk box funkateer <a href="spotify:artist:0HnF3y5xRlNr6eGQmFZgjP" data-name="Swatkins">Swatkins</a>.
