UK-based artist Protostar is an essential part of the drum & bass scene. Releasing with Monstercat since 2013, he has perfected his unique signature sound over the years, earning him upwards of 72 million combined streams across multiple platforms. It’s this very talent for bootlegs which also caught the attention of Minecraft soundtrack artist C418. Following his bootleg of “Aria Math,” it led him to create the soundtrack’s first official remix, Aria Math (Protostar Remix). Protostar has also broken into both video game soundtracks and DJing circuits in the past few years. Rocket League plays host to 3 of his biggest tracks (Galaxies, There and Back, New Horizons), also being found in Fortnite, and fans can hear these tracks in action during one of his many performances, whether in countries such as the Netherlands or at festivals such as NOX in the Woods and Liquicity. This is just a hint of what’s to come for Protostar, with more genre-defining releases, projects and performances in his future.
