AKA Ash Smith is a longstanding British Producer/DJ protege of Always Alive Recordings head honcho Daniel Kandi. These days Ash currently resides all the way over in Charlotte NC USA where he continues to hone his incredibly talented production skills under the watchful eye of the super Danish Trance man himself The Kandi man (Enhanced Music).

Hailing from a small town in Greater Manchester named Wigan - Prox throughout High School could usually be found in the music room fiddling around in Cubase, and when at home, practicing on his set of Technics 1210s.

Shortly after playing his first Hard Dance club at 16, he met Daniel Kandi whilst playing Online Pool. The two got chatting about Trance music which then inspired Prox to embark on his journey learning how to produce Trance.

Now, inspired by the feeling that classic Trance used to bring him, Prox has created a unique balance between classic and modern sounds.
