PRPE (The Punk Rock Polka Experience) formed in 2005 and has released 4 albums. The band consists of multiple people who have been a part of the Hudson Valley hardcore and punk scene such as Brian (EntropyNY, Big Shot, Trouble Bound, Spell It Out) on Vocals and Guitar, Bobby ( Bobby Edge band, Jukebox Romantics, Public Serpents) on bass, Greg (The Dead Hearts) Guitar, and Sky (More Faster, Ditch Digger) Drums. The goal of the band is to create super melodic skate punk reminiscent of Epitaph and Fat Wreck bands such as Osker, NOFX and Lagwagon while having the energy of Hardcore without sounding derivative. Their first professional studio album was recorded by John Naclario at Nada Recording Studios.
