Gravity moves as light is conceived as a project to define and look for the boundary of techno to trance. Combining more open style of sound design with wide basses and meticulous rhythms. To look for a style that mixes well in both chill out and sunset/sunrise. An important focus for me was the incorporation of analogue sounds, giving a soothing experience to the listener. The key is minimalism and melody to create a soundscape which tries to portray emotion and dedication to the art. The 4 tracks on the EP define the elements that inspired me, “gravity moves as light” is the culmination of the mix, while “out of reach“ ventures more into the realm of techno with dominant bass design. “true thoughts” describes more a more progressive melodic sound and “changing droplets” ends the EP with chill out to dub function. The air in the EP gives the listener time to breath, while hopefully enjoying the trip through emotion and sound.
