Punk-o-Matic Records is a Punk-o-Matic 2 community project based off the Newgrounds games by Evil-Dog (Evil Dog Games). This project started 12+ years ago during the golden era of the game to encourage more roleplay in the community; such as releasing albums under band names instead of usernames, making music videos, doing interviews, having a unified aesthetic/presentation and presenting it all as if a real band, to help build more interest in everyone's efforts. It has stayed open to help preserve parts of the community over the years but also continually promote the roleplay new bands created through the game. Even a decade later, the label has had new releases from older bands and brand new bands alike!
This Spotify page is an extension of the website to help preserve songs and get inspiration and also to just enjoy in general. POM Records, since one of the major long lasting projects still ongoing, has also been trying to preserve all of the other defunct community projects, whether originally part of the label or not, especially after the main website for the community, Punk-o-Matic.NET was lost (along with so much history, song data, etc).
All songs & band content are given by consent & have full permission.
