Pyrrhura is a experimental folk act out of Slovakia, so it has that "not made in America or Canada" thing going on. What first appeared to be a simple thought ended up in an experimental indie folk project with a few albums released so far. Milan Tarina, singer and songwriter, feels that "music is a way of dealing with all kinds of emotions in life."
That is why there is a big range of feelings going on, although the music holds close together. "When there is an honest writing, the music feels just like a diary of a person. And it's very intimate to read a diary," Milan said.
The debut album "In the middle of the forest" was released in 2013, followed by EP "Off the big road" in 2014, influeced by bands like Woods and Mount Eerie. 2015's release "Spring" was some more serious introduction of strings and more intimate personal lyrics. New music from Pyrrhura, fourth album "Less Love" in May 8. 2018 is a closer look at relationships and the weight of love in our society, musically influenced by bands such as Editors or Modest Mouse.
