Friends since their childhood days in Durham, NC, Johnny Irion (vocals, guitar), Ryan Pickett (guitar), Chris Hollaway (bass), and Zeke Hutchins (drums) held their first rehearsals for Queen Sarah Saturday in 1990. Thirsty Ear released the band's debut EP in August 1993, followed one year later by the full-length Weave.
