Training a dog is an ambitious leap into deeper waters, Jacob’s voice resonates with the authenticity of lived experience. The lyrics feel both heartfelt and confessional, the darker subject matter here is likely the reason Quickness gets comparisons to Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, City and Colour, and Alice in Chains.
