RAFAYEL (Mervin Rafayel Maramag) is a 24-year-old Filipino-Canadian artist, songwriter, vocal producer, dancer, and choreographer based in Winnipeg, Canada. Born in the Philippines and raised in Winnipeg from the age of four, RAFAYEL channels his roots, rhythm, and raw emotion into music that blends R&B, Hip-Hop, Rap, and Pop with soul-stirring energy.

Raised in a musical household, he honed his skills early—singing, rapping, dancing, and teaching others along the way. His artistry is shaped by life experience, creative discipline, and influences like Chris Brown, Usher, Bryson Tiller, Justin Bieber, August Alsina, Bruno Mars, Eric Bellinger, and Tory Lanez—just to name a few.

With 10 tracks already out and a growing buzz in Canada’s independent music scene, RAFAYEL brings emotion, rhythm, and bold storytelling to everything he creates.
