Rafi Muhammad was born in Jakarta on December 3rd, 1996. Been interested to drums since he was 6 and recorded his debut album in 2006 entitled, Can’t Stop The Beat in the United States with Harvey Mason as the producer. Part of the profit from the album sells which featured Bob James, Nathan East, Paul Jackson Jr., Tom Scott, Michael Paulo, Paul Russo, and Vann Johnson was donated to UNICEF to benefit less fortunate children all around the world. This has led him to a discussion with UNICEF's Executive Director at the moment, Ann M. Veneman in New York, United States.
View years earlier, Rafi involved in a couple albums with his bands, Rafi and The Beat and also Art of Tree, and also a trio project which assembled by Indra Lesmana himself, LLW. At this moment, beside finishing his debut album, Rafi Muhammad is also working on his latest group called Her Coat of Arms, along with Sri Hanuraga and Adra Karim.
