Led by singer and guitarist Greg Strzempka, Raging Slab is known for its highly unique Southern-rock boogie sound, with influences from punk and metal. Part of the group's impact comes from slide guitarist Elyse Steinman, who serves as a rhythmic anchor and sometimes adds texture -- unusual functions for a slide player. The band also includes third guitarist Mark Middleton, Alec Morton, and Bob Pantella.
