The second band to use the Widowmaker name bears no relationship whatsoever to the original British outfit that featured guitarist Ariel Bender. This American incarnation was created by vocalist <a href="spotify:artist:2pD123sZTm8brthWviUKlQ">Dee Snider</a> after several years' hiatus from the music business following the breakup of <a href="spotify:artist:7b85ve82Sh36a3UAx74wut">Twisted Sister</a>. Joining Snider from the final lineup of <a href="spotify:artist:7b85ve82Sh36a3UAx74wut">Twisted Sister</a> is drummer Joe Franco, while guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:5qBNVzuqV932mfa1rAjz7p">Al Pitrelli</a> splits his time between <a href="spotify:artist:3N1B1g6JtIgd6ClRkzD4yT">Savatage</a> and Widowmaker.
